Professionally, I call myself a sailor. It is the career that I've built, and how I make my money.

What exactly I do inside the world of sailing has been an evolving adventure.

My experience is spread across tall ships and modern sailing yachts, day sailing tourist schooners and cargo carrying working ships in the Pacific. I have spent the last several summers captaining passenger carrying day-sailing schooners in Newport, RI, New York City and Key West, Fl, and my winters freelancing internationally doing yacht deliveries and racing.

I love to race, and am always looking for the next opportunity. I don't have a classic dinghy racing background-- my first race was as topman on a 170' classic schooner yacht-- and so my racing experience is as varied as the rest of it; everything from classic yacht regattas like Le Voile de Saint Tropez to the St Barth's Bucket, the Caribbean 600 to weekly racing in Newport, RI. I love it all.

I have sailed extensively in New England, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, the Florida Keys and the Pacific, and through the NW Passage in 2015. I am always keen to get on new boats, and in general always hungry to learn more, sail more, and become a better sailor.
